Ever since we introduced the Best BBQ Wing award back in 2023, @smokeshedhoddesdon have consistently made the podium for their delicious wings 🤩

Here’s a little throwback to their selection from London. We were BIG fans of their ‘B.B.BBQ’ wings. They featured a Brisket Bone marrow and smoked root vegetable sauce, served alongside a hickory smoked mustard dressing 🔥

@badboywings had a breakout year in 2024! 💥

They were already top-tier wing slingers but @badboywings took it up a notch last year and blew us away! In fact, they were the only traders to pick up awards at every Wing Fest in 2024 🏆

They scooped up 16 awards in total for their elite-level Buffalo and BBQ wings - mind blowing stuff! 🤯

Here’s a little throwback to Wing Fest Derby at @bustler_derby where they picked up top spot in the Best Buffalo Wing category with the People and Judge’s Choice vote 👏

Their Jerk BBQ wing also placed first with the people of Derby who couldn’t get enough of the sticky and sweet flavours with a fresh pineapple Chimichuri 🍍

It takes a very special wing to win both the Judge’s & People’s Choice Best Wild Wing Award at Wing Fest and @wingmanschicken did just that last summer! 🏆

Their ‘Darjee’Wing Express’ Wing Wing blew us away with it’s layers upon layers of complex flavours. Sweet, tangy and highly-spiced, this wing had it all 🤯

The contrasting textures and sauces really exploded in your mouth and proved that the humble chicken wing really can be taken to extraordinary heights 📈

Our friends at @foodreviewclub said it was the best wing they’ve ever tried and trust us, that’s very high praise indeed 👏

@dirtychickenuk are always bringing the elite flavour combinations! 🤩

It was a pleasure to welcome back to Wing Fest this year @dirtychickenuk! Their delicious wings keep going from strength to strength 👏

We were big fans of their Wild Wing entry from Sheffield which featured a homemade chicken curry sauce and topped with crushed poppadoms and crispy onions. The Judge’s also loved this wing too, awarding it third place in the Best Wild Wing category 🏆

Their Buffalo is top tier as well and picked up a prize in Derby! Their twist on this classic sauce features a hint of mango to add a nice tropical sweetness and is finished with a homemade ranch 🧡

@jus.winging.it had an incredible 2024 Wing Fest season 💥

We were lucky enough to be joined by these talented wing slingers at four Wing Fest events this year and they delighted the crowds everywhere they went! 👏

They picked up a total of six awards, one of the highest for any trader this year and it’s easy to see why 🧡

They’re always pushing the boundaries with unique flavour combinations that work in perfect harmony. Highlights include an Irish stout BBQ sauce with sage mayo and lavender and of course, their take on the classic Buffalo with a blue cheese drizzle 🏆

It’s incredible to see their rise to the top and we think 2025 has even bigger things in store for them! 🙌
